About this site and the author
May 30th, 2008Welcome to my blog!
I hope that you will find the discussions on this blog to be informative, interesting and stimulating.
Introducing this site
The objective of this blog is to stimulate debate in relation to a range ethical issues relating to business.
Amongst other issues, I would like to address the following topics on this site:
• ethical investing;
• labor relations and practices;
• environmental practices;
• product quality and safety;
• corporate honesty and integrity;
• legal issues and compliance;
• sales and marketing practices;
• product quality and safety;
• corporate governance; and
• ethics at work.
My objective is to post two articles per week, one on Tuesday and the other on Friday. The Tuesday articles will focus on singular-post topics, and aim to provide specific comment on current events relating to business ethics.
In contrast, Friday articles will link together to form a series of discussions based around a broad ethical issue. Friday articles, therefore, will focus less on current news and affairs and will focus more around the general principles of ethical business practices.
The intention of this site is to be interactive and to promote discussion and debate. Accordingly, I cordially invite all readers to express their thoughts, ideas and comments in relation to the issues raised in the discussion.

Introducing the author
Hi, my name is Andrew.
I’m a former Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) and I currently work as an English teacher in South Korea.
In 1998, I graduated from Deakin University in Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce. After graduation I worked within the accounting profession for seven years, during which time I became a CPA.
In 2005, I left Australia and commenced employment as an English teacher in South Korea. I now live a rural area in the central part of South Korea and teach in public middle schools.
I thoroughly hope that you find the discussions on this blog to be both interesting and stimulating.
Cheers
Andrew
