Totally agree, but when the President lets a whole state off the hook of potential payments to get a vote… sigh. We Americans need to get the corporate money out of politics and that probably means amending the constitution now, thanks to the recent supreme’s decision re corporations as persons.

Andrew, Add me to the list of people who agree with you. The fact that celebrity misdeeds have a significant market value is irrelevant. Money has a significant market value, but that doesn’t justify bank robbery. The prosecution should add a charge of gross stupidity to Mr. Haldeman’s indictment.

Folks like to blur definitions in the publics mind to try and take the edge off what they have done.

While Halderman is innocent until proven guilty, his alleged actions have only one definition that I am aware of and that is criminal.
