general 10 Comments

I am delighted that the past month or so has once again seen a range of extremely thoughtful and insightful comments on the part many of you in response to some of the discussions which we have been having over here on this blog.

Personally, I will be finishing up my contract of employment here in Korea next month, and look forward to returning back home to my family and friends in Australia in September. Accordingly, I may not be as active within the blogosphere over the course of the next couple of months as I would otherwise have liked, not only as I make arrangements associated with the process of finishing up at work and subsequently moving back home, but also as I try to see and experience as much of Korea as I possibly can during my remaining time in this country.

That said, I do thoroughly enjoy the blogging process, and I certainly hope to contribute as much as I reasonably can toward discussions on some of your blogs over the next few months (along with continuing to post some discussions here) without neglecting commitments in other areas of my life.

Anyhow, I would sincerely like to thank the following commentators for their contributions during the past month:

    Andrew,

We’ll miss you if you’re not around as much, but you should certainly take advantage of the opportunity to experience as much of Korea as you can while you’re there. Hope the transition from Korea to back home in Australia goes smoothly.

    Thanks so much Lillie,

There are bound to be some challenging aspects of the transition, and after such a long time, I am certain to find it difficult to readjust to living back in my hometown of Melbourne again.

But I’m sure that I will manage, and I certainly hope that I am not completely disconnected from the blogosphere either.

I’m with Lillie, Andrew; you should certainly take advantage of the sightseeing opportunities while you have the chance! There will always be things you’ll WISH you’d seen.

Hi Andrew, Have fun in your travels, always a great thing to explore. Would be neat if you could find access on occasion to post photos and thoughts about what you’re seeing. I know I would enjoy to live vicariously through your journey! Safe Journeys. Fred

    Thanks Robert, Fred, Brad,

I certainly hope to make the most of the remainder of my time in Korea.

It’s kind of strange, but knowing over the past few months that I did not have a long time remaining in Korea, it has been a lot easier for me to motivate myself to get out and be more active. Indeed, I think I experienced more in the past twelve months in Korea than I did during my first three years in the country put together!

With regards, to Fred’s comment, I will certainly post some more photographs if I get the chance.

I certainly will not be disappearing from the blogosphere altogether, and I will certainly continue to post and participate in discussions when I have the chance. All I’m simply saying is that my level of participation may be curtailed slightly as I take care of other commitments.
